Specific Method vs. Compilation
I believe that if one wants to be a professional actor then they must go through the process of making their tool the best it can be, instead of conforming to a singular method of acting. Meisner was often quoted saying, "Whatever works." He acknowledged the fact that actors can use many different styles of acting to create who they are as an actor or performer. One specific style does not work for everyone, people need to be able to pick the different exercises that help make them the best that they can be; if this means studying both Method Acting and Meyerhold than so be it.
